With the start of the current pandemic, conferences started to get cancelled or postponed. But luckily, there is another trend emerging, a really exciting one: Online conferences.
The reason(s) I am so excited about this? First and foremost, it is the right thing to do, facing the climate crisis. Second, it is efficient. You don't spend lots of time and money to be on the road, in hotels, and so on- you can just incorporate the relevant sessions into your regular day. You can send different colleagues to different sessions suitable, because these format is often also free.
I really do hope that this format will stay. Here are two free online-conferences of my list:

The Virtual 6th International Conference on Business and Management Dynamics (ICBMD-2020) will now take place on 24 September 2020 (South Africa). The main theme is to enhance Africa’s development and competitiveness in the digital economy and beyond.
Research papers (full) can still be submitted via email to [email protected] by 31 July 2020. All research papers MUST adhere to the ICBMD’s template, which is visible at http://icbmd.org.za/. Also refer to this website for additional information on the various topics, but ignore the dates, which were for the physical conference, which was replaced by the virtual conference due to the lock-down! Details are also attached!
My university was very quick to get the right equipment, so that everyone can stay at home and follow teaching, seminars, and master and Phd seminars, through a web system. It runs like a clock.
