My question is about the Lethal concentration (LC50) and its use to experiment with some biochemical tests on insects. Why should biochemistry bioassays be conducted on insects treated with the LC50 and not other concentrations?
because on insects treated with the LC50, or the concentration that causes 50% mortality, for several reasons,
Standardization, Using the LC50 concentration ensures consistency and comparability across different studies. It provides a standardized benchmark for evaluating the effects of substances on insect populations.
