Knowing that the Venturi effect is used most in tubes (according to my basic knowledge in physics) to increase the speed of air or liquids by reducing the tube volume, my question is if we have the same conditions such as a house or a building that the air passes through a narrow hallway to an open space.

  • Is it possible that we can observe an increase in air speed when it passes through the hallway?
  • Is it possible to have a cooler air in the hallway?
