I am processing data in Kubios HRV Standard and I am running into two technical issues. I am specifically analyzing HR and changes in nonmotor HR, and I'm finding that most of the information available for Kubios is only in reference to HRV. I am struggling with the following:

1. I am unable to figure out how to manually delete erroneous artifacts aside from doing beat correction. Is it necessary to open the text file and manually delete the artifacts from the text file? Can this be done in Kubios in any way?

2. I am trying to add quite short sections for analysis (5-8 seconds). The program is not letting me create sections shorter than 20-30 seconds. Is there a reason for this? How do I get around it, if possible? If this isn't possible, is there a recommended alternative prgoram to be utilized for heart rate and not HRV? I know that Kubios is designed more for HRV, but it does seem to be the most utilized in research.

Also, what is the commonly acceptable beat correction threshold for humans? We generally utilize 0.3 for equine science, but I would love to know what the standard is for human HR (and it would be amazing if sources could be provided for the universally utilized standard).
