But it is from a business context.
Dear Yasir,
I would strongly advise you to go for separate studies devoted to 1. qualitative and 2. quantitative research exclusively, as they are often written by representatives of researchers in given paradigms and fields of science, hence are most valuable, first-hand account and of practical worth. Otherwise sometimes all-fits-one formulas tend to be a merely an outline of the core of given methodological school ,tools and guidelines.
Hence, as for qualitative research to my mind the best work so far is The SAGE Handbook of Qualitative Research 3rd by Norman K. Denzin and Yvonna S. Lincoln.

and as far as quantitative research is concerned similarly decent work came from David Kaplan and his SAGE Handbook of Quantitative Methodology for the Social Sciences.

'Educational Research Competencies and Analysis' by Gay and Airasian is by far the most popular book on educational research. Equally good and popular book is
'Educational Research: Planning, Conducting, and Evaluating Quantitative and Qualitative Research', by John W. Creswell.
These two books will set you up for almost any type of research.
However, later you may have to read, later, books that are specific to either qualitative or quantitative research methodologies for better understanding.
