We know that some drugs are easily destroyed by human acid. One way to avoid this without using acid suppression is to keep the pylorus open so the whole digestive tube from the esophagus to the small intestine will be freely open. Is there a way to achieve that with drugs?

These techniques include endoscopic pyloric balloon dilation—which has been utilized on children as well as adults18, as well as the use of Botox injections into the pylorus. A recent study published in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy concluded that pyloric injection of botulinum toxin can improve symptoms and gastric emptying in patients with diabetic gastroparesis19. Botox injections relax the pylorus sphincter muscle and provide a duration of symptom relief lasting from 3 to 9 months. Botox works about half the time. It may not help and may actually create the additional problem of food dumping into the small intestine (dumping syndrome), adding instead a new layer of symptoms.
In conclusion, compounds such as Botox can solve the problem.
