Some of the Peer reviewed journals don't process the research articles timely. Sometimes they reject paper within an hour. In other instances, they reject papers after conducting number of Reviews - spending time of many of the reviewers, editors and off course authors. Is it fair way of dealing?
Its not fair. It makes time loss of the authors , reviewers and editors. Late response of journal will of course create hope of publishing when it takes long time for the decision. But when we are disappointed by the late response of rejection, it decreases confidence on ourselves.

I can assure you that there is absolutely no pressure or interference from T&F with regards to editorial policy and practices. If you experienced longer-than-normal manuscript handling times or unfair rejections, this has nothing to do with T&F, but rather with the editors and/or reviewers of the journal you submitted to. Now, this is not to say that these people act wrongfully on purpose. Everybody is overloaded these days. And, to be fair, not all manuscripts are of equal quality or relevance. I allow myself to share bits of experience with you, hoping it'll be helpful.
Manuscripts written in poor English and/or not formatted according to the instructions for authors have a very high chance of being rejected right off the bat. This represents, alas, quite a high percentage of the submissions I receive.
Manuscripts that do not correspond to the journal's aims & scope are also very likely to be rejected without being reviewed.
Not to mention, of course, that the study must be original, solid and well backed by relevant and up-to-date literature.

Thank you very much for sharing this very critical issue with us. You have experienced that some of the peer-reviewed journals do not process the research articles timely.
In addition, they sometimes reject the submitted papers after conducting a number of reviews and in the process end up spending the precious time of many the reviewers, editors, and authors.
You are wondering and seeking to find out from the rest of the colleagues through this platform if this practice is a fair way of dealing! My impression is that it is absolutely unfair or unjust, to say the least.
I expect them to be respectful, transparent, effective or efficient, considerate, professional, or ethical, apologetic, let alone supportive, and courteous in all stages of their dealings with their internal and external publics at all times.
I hope a time will come when they will begin to ruthlessly embrace integrity.
