I am much delighted about the conference on 'Mental Health Promotion'. The The world today is faced with numerous mental health challenges cum disorders in a very diverse spectrum. The theme: "Positive Lifestyle and Mental Health Promotion", has caught my attention as a mental health and psychiatry trainer and with my passion in mental wellbeing of populations, would really wish to attend.
I have imparted a great deal of knowledge on mental health to my students and observed keenly the impact it has had on them and their loved ones in many remote areas in Kenya besides community's change of behavior for promotion of mental health. It has been my endeavor to see many mentally challenged/ill persons return to or close to their previous healthy living upon successful client centered psychiatric interventions
