currently im varying parameter like temperature, time and concentration in synthesis of carbon dots...
I know the best analysis from PL spectrometry, which it can differentiate intensity at different range of variables.
But i would like to know is it possible for UV VIS result to show the difference if I'm varying temperature on c\C-dots for example?
The operation of UV-Vis spectroscopy is based on Beer-Lambert principle which states that absorbance is equivalent to concentration. UV-Vis is a spectroscopic technique that gives both quantitative and qualitative information about the sample. It can identify the sample being tested and also quantify the concentration of the sample. Haven said all these, if the process for determining the best conditions for carbon dots is based on the difference in the concentration of the sample, all UV-Vis will do is to quantify the concentration and it is up to you to decide which condition will be the best. UV-Vis won't give you such answer. Hopefully this will help
