Yeah the advent of technology could address many of the challenges we face in agricultural production. They are more effective and require less labor. The adaptation of such technology could be challenging especially in developing countries where small scale farmers operate. However, the future of agriculture may well be dependent on technologies than ever. Therefore, building the capacity of the farmers through various practical trainings could be an option with this regard. In addition, with the help of government policy, private and community institutions could also establish their own UAV-based services which give easy access to local farmers. I feel that this will open a new entrepreneurial opportunity in the near future where private companies engage in providing access to local farmers as well as to commercial farming companies.
