Hi, Kutyifa. I believe it will be a very useful way of seeing the left atrium and can lead more effectively ablation. What have you found in your results?
We never used TEE to guide AF ablation. We use ICE just as a guide to AS puncture. We are planning to buy a device aimed to monitor oesophageal temperature during ablation. 3D TEE seems a very interesting solution.
Thiago we found real time TEE to be useful for guiding AF ablation procedures.
