We got data from HRV and EEG during cycling exercise with constant workload and different cadence. At start and end we got same cadence, so we could also investigate influence of duration. I just want to find someone who already discussed data from autonomic nervous system in connection with data from central nervous system DURING exercise. In HRV data we found cadence and duration dependent changes especially in non-linear parameters like dfa-1-alpha. May be we could discuss these data in connection to complex fatigue models because of decreasing complexity of RR-fluctuations and retraction of the homeodynamic system.

I attempt to evidence that in this case during exercise we lose stationarity.

In this case non linear methods valid for non stationarity are required

Also the analysis of variability as resulting in my profile could be appropriate,

Indeed, as mentioned by Pr. Conte, your use-case leads to a non-stationary HRV and the use of the standard FFT method is meaningless here. Non-linear analysis is needed.

We did research of forced breathing, Atemzentrierte Entspannung ( unpublished os far)

We measured HRV changes betwenn forced berathing and ongoing relaxation.

Abstract:

Breathing-focused relaxation is described as a new technique where through forced breathing in the

chest area a deep relaxation is achieved. Before and after the forced breathing there is a relaxation

phase of 10 minutes taken. Hence until today there are only a few publications on the subject

available, in the following study through two different surveys as well as a measurement of the

heart rate variability (HRV) and the skin response (SCL) an investigation is carried out. 20 healthy

survey takers were examined before, after and through the process. The evaluation of the collected

data showed significant results that suggest a relaxation and heightened well-being.
