With the ongoing global changes in the climate, several schools are including environment changes effects on health and disease. Are you giving a place in the curriculum to this critical area?
Definitely, as most of the mosquito borne diseases are directly linked with rise of temperature. This book may be consulted for detailed case studies.
Excellent debate. I work with effluent nitrogen removal systems and some other parallel areas. In recent years, I have been very interested in how these areas are related to climate change and innovative propositions for them.
As a follow-up to my question, I wonder if you have included in your curriculum topics such as changes in temperature (too cold or too hot) and effects on health, earthquakes, and natural disasters and effects on health and survival. Changes in the epidemiology of diseases based on environmental changes etc.
The curriculum is supposed to be the beating heart of any society.
