Hi,

I am currently working through the evaluation process with a team and we are trying to look at the common traits of children with higher level skills and children who are still in the ELL process. This student in particular is in 2nd grade and has great adaptive skills in most areas. He watches his peers as prompts to follow the routines and directions but still has a hard time with multi-step direction directions. He doesn't initiate many interactions unless needing help from other spanish speaking students or during lunch. The ELL teacher and I are working on finding some resources.
