A tensor product of 2 graphs is polynomial time solvable! But if there is inverse tensor product, then is it polynomial time solvable?
I'm not aware of any kind of inverse tensor product of graphs. What do you need it for? Maybe there's something else that might suit your purposes.
Tensor product of P2 with any graph makes the resultant graph bipartite. For proving a problem to be NP-Complete, we need to have an "if and only if" condition. By taking the tensor product, only sufficiency is solved and not the necessity.
