An appeal for your all kind of support and advises to fight for truth in Science against corruption
Dear friends, many of you might be still having memory or facing wrath of the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreaks even after vaccination in different parts of India, Tunisia, Algeria etc. While acting as Director CCSNIAH, Baghpat, the vaccine quality monitoring agency, we with all our might and wisdom tested the vaccine batches released for use in 2014. Despite of all prohibitions and hindrances we proved and reported about the substandard vaccine supplied by the producer firms (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/267705649_Testing_of_FMD_Vaccine_intended_to_be_used_under_FMD-CP_of_Govt_of_India_at_CCS_NIAH_Baghpat_UP_India).
However, the report was not palatable to the firms and to those who were passing the vaccine for use and also to those purchasing the vaccine for farmers. And Dr. Gaya Prasad (then ADG, AH and now VC of SVBP University of Agric. Tech. Modpuram Meerut) was made chairman of the committee to re-examine the vaccine batches. Frankly saying to benefit the vaccine producing companies, the committee retested the vaccine but not the same samples those were available at CCS NIAH, Baghpat or the samples of the same lots available at IVRI Bangaluru, or the vaccine of the same batches available in different parts of the country with users (State Animal Husbandry Departments), rather they tested the fresh samples procured from the companies giving them ample time (more than two weeks) before collecting the samples. For what the heinous act was done---------?. And as expected, the committee reported that the vaccine was OK, and BR Singh was wrong and thus liable for punishment. Taking benefit of the report, a vaccine producer has file a huge (hundreds of crore) defamation suit against me and have to defend it in City Civil Court, Hyderabad, the place which I have not seen since last 20 years.
Dear friends you all know that even after vaccination and booster vaccination FMD has haunted our animals and animals are dying even in the most renowned Veterinary Institutes of India due to FMD. BR Singh tried to help farmers, animal husbandry people, veterinarians and to whole country against substandard vaccine but poor fellow now ------------.
Thus I earnestly appeal to all of you to lend me help in fighting against corruption, for farmers, for animal husbandry people and for our Nation to get rid of day to day atrocities.
