Hello, is it possible to calculate by any means or theoretical equation that a reaction at solid-vapor interface should be faster than liquid-liquid interface. In theory, at high temperature, the vapors should have high kinetic energy, have more vapor pressure and have high diffusion rates than liquid at room temperature so the reaction rate must be fast (imine-based reactions). But can anyone help me with some concrete evidence or a reference to prove this point. Thanks
