I have model that I want analyze it with different materials, but I want to have same meshing for all simulations, in order to compare the effect of the material. I was wondering is there any option to freeze meshing (or initial mesh ) in hfss? I mean after changing material, it gives the results based on previous meshing.

Hi, if I understood your question correctly and
if you don't change geometry of your model, you may follow this steps: 1. create a copy of current solved hfss design. 2. in the copied version in setup use import mesh from original project and set number of pass = 1. 3. Compare results of meshing, in setup profile, number of elements original and copied design must be equal.
The same problem in CST Microwave studio. Different number of samples result from slight changing in the simulation model.
