TCP congestion control technique and its variants are commonly used in wireless networks. For mobile ad-hoc networks, the TCP congestion control techniques are appropriate ?

Using a tool like NetSim you can simulate TCP over MANET. Experiment with different congestion control algorithms at layer-4 and different ad hoc routing protocols at layer-3. You can then analyze their combined impact on network performance in terms of throughput, latency, etc.
