Several scientific articles are there which demonstrate the super-reactiveness or various advantages of the (001) crystal plane of anatase TiO2. Similarly, are there studies that evince the reactiveness of the (001) crystal plane of TiO2(B)? Obviously, there are several studies on the application of TiO2(B). However, I could not find any study that specifically proves the reactiveness of the (001) crystal plane of TiO2(B). It is further, needless to say, that the (001) crystal planes of both of the titania polymorphs are different.

Dear Arpan Sarkar, this topic reveals the importance of crystal structure and plane orientation in activity, mainly in catalysis and photocatalysis. Active sites are more exposed, however it is not clear-cut (at least for me) the comparaison between flat and curved surfaces of these structures. Dear researchers thanks for your reply. The super reactiveness/ extraordinary properties of the (001) crystal plane of anatase TiO2 is well demonstrated. However, I am interested to know whether the (001) plane of TiO2(B) is also very reactive or not. I would really be grateful to your wise selves should you kindly provide me some studies that specifically reveal the reactivity of the (001) plane of TiO2(B), not the anatase TiO2.
