I have thought about those patterns of cropping a lot and since 4 years at least. Cropping patterns are the head of crops management for several reasons:
- Patterns determine water requirements of crops.
- It can determine the nutrient needs of crops.
- It can identify the weeds occurrence and thus other pests control.
- It may cause a good control for the crops quality and marketing prices.
Generally, we can say the cropping patterns is the mother of crops management. If you had documented it practically, i would have learn!
Before 4 years i stated a proposal to study the patterns of vegetables (open field) in four Zarqa districts, the Zarqa extension head had cancelled it ! he said this is not important... oops !!!
Eventually, when you i was working in field studies, i documented a lot of plans of patterns. May we cooperate when you have a funded project.
