I would like to study the practices of infection control measures fallowed by healthcare professionals in different units, in a tertiary care hospital. Infection control committee is active and the committee follows the standard guidelines. But I would like to explore the actual practice. Could anyone help me to find a brief, standardized checklist for the same?
Infection control itself has no boundries for it's practice. We all know it began the day a mother taught her child to wash hands.Though it begins from one's home,irrespective of one's culture,knowledge and education , individual's personal habits,attitude and a persistent will to comply with the standards forms foundation of the best practices.Many environmental issues also influence these best practices.I have sent a link of CDC for your reference.Refer to it , should be helpful.

we do moniter HCW practice and implementation of our reccomendations and guidelines through some check lists , specific to each policies. as an example isolation precautions as airborne, droplet and contact preccaution guidelines are monitered through check lists , the contents are guideed by the requireed guidelineswith specific practice.
