Finalization of "Terms & Conditions" for construction work is a part of Contract documents. When we finalize the party/associate to award the work order, then we need to finalize the "T & C".
What are the basic "T & C" which must be included in the contract for the proper and successfull, execution and complition of the work. If there is any standard format for the same kindly attach.
May I suggest that you Google "General conditions of contract" (or "conditions of contract" if you wish to spread your net wider), which seems to have considerable information on your subject.
Here in South Africa most authorities (National, Provincial or Municpal, etc) have their own pet variations of the GCC, which they or their appointed Consulting Engineers include in the Contract Documents for the particular project being let to contract.
The British Institute of Civil Engineers also has their version.
Do not let me mislead you: these various GCC are all basically the same! (As far as I can see!) But slight variations, or additions have been incorporated over time to suit the particular needs of the particular authority, as these apparently became desirable.
Unfortunately I am now retired, and have not office facilities to send you copies of the General Conditions of Contract we are currently using here. But, as I suggested previously, you can download copies from the Internet.
So may I suggest that you go on the net, and Google "General Conditions of Contract South Africa" (or Hong Kong, or wherever you have an interest!). You will then be faced with pages of links from which to make your choice. If you would like to view the South African Institution of Civil Engineering General Conditions of Contract you will, for exmple, be told that may do so on www.cidb.co.za/documents/pdm/.../a_basic_guide_to_gcc2004_final.pdf
Forty eight pages, I seem to remember.
