I suggest you contact the International Association of Astacology. Lots of its members are working on crayfish status in Europe, and some might be working on reproduction as well. I'm sure they would be glad to help you with your research.

Dear Peter,

Together with colleagues from University of Kragujevac we did some steps in breeding of three native species. In Kragujevac they have serious breeding capacity - large freshwater aquarium. They still do not have web site on English, but you can se photos - http://www.pmf.kg.ac.rs/akvarijum/index.php/hometop

also, there is a center for biodiversity co9nservation and we worked on the reintroduction of native populations of A. astacus.
