I am about to start a research regarding physician - physician relationship. Was not able to find any research. Most researchs are about physician alienation, workloads, salaries etc.. Those kind are not the ones I am looking for. Will be glad if anyone can notify me if there is any research...

In the field of ethics in tissue banking, including ethics of doctors in transplantation of tissues during certain types of medical treatment, the following materials can give you a pretty good idea about ethics in medicine:

I would suggest doing a search in the field of medical sociology. Also, because this D-D relationship is tightly connected with professional codes of ethics, I suggest researching documents of physicians' professional associations such as AMA.
Atul Gawande's books ("Complications" and "Better"--or at least one of them) refer to at least one case of a certain physician eventually losing his license but only after a long and rather protectionist wait by the professional board he was accountable to. This says a lot about the D-D relationship. Gawande's books might offer sources you can further consult.
There is an amount of research out there on this issue.
