See, a 'Tsunami' is the wave (mostly with high energy) created in ocean water due to the movement of tectonic plates (which float on and travel independently over the mantle  of the earth).

Global warming - the warming of earth's surface (about 1oC in the last 200 years).

The answer has been given by Asit Kumar Batabyal already. There is NO direct relationship between Tsunami's and Climate Change, as far as we know. However when it concerns Tornado's and Hurricane's that's another business.

These phenomena are well connected with meteorology and this year the US has had its share of the strongest hurricanes ever with billions of dollars of damage, including many people that died in the fury of the hurricanes coming through the Carribean sea. It is assumed, but not proven yet that with Climate Change the intensity of the hurricanes increases. This is probable, but still has to be corroborated.

They do have a good relation. If we believe, there is some true happening now. That is a "change". Climate is changing and so do natural disasters severity. We are hearing much more number of volcanoes, earthquakes and Tsunamis than in the past decades.

Hurricane Frequency and Intensity. A Trade Off?

If the Earth continues to warm, what does that mean for hurricanes and their intensity? What, if we analyze past hurricane data by investigating their intensity and frequency.

Purpose

In recent years more and more attention has been paid to the Earth's climate and how it is evolving. When studying hurricanes it is important to understand that, for a hurricane to grow, warm water is an absolute necessity. So if the Earth continues to warm, what does that mean for hurricanes and their frequency and intensity?

Background

There are four factors contributing to the birth and growth of a hurricane. They are:

1) Low pressure;

2) High temperatures;

3) Availability of an ocean warm water source and;

4) Tropical wind patterns.

Hurricanes have the ability to either grow stronger or weaker, depending on these four factors. Hurricanes in the Northern Hemisphere usually begin by traveling from east to west. As the storms approach the coast of North America or Asia, however, they shift to a more northerly direction. All hurricanes eventually move toward higher latitudes where there is colder air, less moisture, and larger wind shears. These conditions cause the storm to weaken and die out. The end comes quickly if a hurricane moves over land, because it no longer receives heat energy and moisture from warm tropical water. Heavy rains may continue, however, even after the winds have diminished. It is also possible for a hurricane to stall and grow in size and intensity if the conditions are right.

Evidence

In Nature Climate Change a paper was recently published where observed records of Atlantic hurricane activity show a correlation - on a multi-year time-scale - between local tropical Atlantic sea surface temperatures (SSTs) and the Power Dissipation Index (PDI). Moreover, a trade-off between intensity and frequency of global tropical cyclones is elicited. Global tropical cyclone climate has been investigated with indicators of frequency, intensity and activity. However, a full understanding of global warming’s influence on tropical cyclone climate remains elusive because of the incomplete nature of these indicators.

A complete three-dimensional variability space of tropical cyclone climate was constructed where variabilities have been continuously linked. It was elicited that global ocean warmth best explains the out-of-phase relationship between intensity and frequency of global tropical cyclones. In a year with higher ocean warmth, the tropical troposphere is capped by higher pressure anomaly in the middle and upper troposphere even with a higher moist static energy anomaly in the lower troposphere. This is thought to inhibit overall tropical cyclone occurrences but at the same time leads to higher intensities. A statistical consequence is a trade-off between intensity and frequency of tropical cyclones.

It was calculated that an average increase in global tropical cyclone intensity of 1.3 m s−1 over the past 30 years of ocean warming has occurred at the expense of 6.1 less tropical cyclones, worldwide.

Internal processes are unlikely to be directly affected by Global warming, major tsunamis are unlikely to happen without a triggering factor depending on internal processes ( Tectonic earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions, and consequent landslides) so in short extreme caution is required before asserting that tsunamis are Warmogenic ! ( a new word I suppose !).

The above discussion inspired me to the following considerations:

It is now November, i.e. in the climatic zone of my country is autumn. Autumn in my country can be beautiful, has its positive aspects. But I like summer the most, except most people in this climate zone in which I live. Autumn is the end of summer and the beginning of winter, if there are still real winters with snow and frost. In my country autumn is colorful, many shades of yellow and brown on deciduous trees that drop the leaves for the winter. In my country, more than a dozen years ago or more, there were real winters with snow and frost after the autumn. In contrast, the last winters, during the last few years, it looked like autumn, without snow and positive temperatures. I think that the greenhouse effect, ie the warming of the Earth's climate, has already begun. This is also confirmed by numerous climatic cataclysms and weather anomalies, which in the current year 2018 appear in numerous places on the Earth. In some parts of the Earth there are fires of huge forest areas such as in Scandinavia, California in the USA, Australia, the Iberian Peninsula, Africa, etc. In addition, weather anomalies, e.g. snow and floods in October and November in the south of Europe.

In addition, tornadoes in many places on Earth and so on.

Perhaps these problems will get worse. It is necessary to improve security systems and anti-crisis services, improve the prediction of these anomalies and climatic cataclysms so that people can, have managed to shelter or cope with the imminent cataclysm. One of the technologies that can help in more precise forecasting of these cataclysms is the processing of large collections of historical and current information on this subject in the cloud computing technology in Big Data database systems.

In view of the above, due to the increasingly frequent cataclysms and climatic anomalies, perhaps in the future we will be forced to change our assessment of particular seasons, and for example, favorite in some climatic zones, summer will not be the best time of the year if, for more and more often, higher temperatures, droughts, fires, tornadoes etc.

The history says , that the tsunamis were predominantly caused by the natural events. The earthquakes were found to be the most common causes. Others like landslides, underwater landslide triggered by an earthquake, earthquake-triggered ice fall, and volcanic eruptions may have also played role to create tsunamis

The human activities, very few cases, also caused tsunamis. For example, the over-topping of the Vajont Dam in Italy in 1963; almost 2,000 people were died in that event.

Tsunami has no direct relation with global warming.
