Fungi play various roles in ecosystems. They act as symbionts, degraders, parasites and a lot more. I was thinking if it is possible to give weight to their ecosystem function viz. -10 for parasites and 10 for ectomycorrhizal fungi.
If someone has worked on similar topic across other biotic communities, constructive suggestions would be highly appreciated.
