Thanks Gabriel. Oil red O does not give you exact concentration of intracellular TG. I read in a paper that I can use oil red O with using flow cytometry to quantify the concentration of TG. I have no experience using flow cytometry so I am not sure whether flow cytometry can help me to quantify the precise concentration of TG. Do you have any idea?

I am afraid that only way to quantify the precise concentration, would be using a enzymatic kit or if you labeled oleic-acid you could measure the radioactivity of the washed cells.
