One reason individuals consider RO water dangerous for drinking is on account of it evacuates every one of the contaminants and some fundamental minerals from water. There are a few minerals in drinking water which are gainful for good health.
I agreed with you But RO also removes some harmful impurities (chemicals) which are desolved in potable water like arsenic and some very dangerous germs. In this case, I think RO water is good for health.
Vinod appreciate your question. Earlier This topic already discussed in Research gate. RO is a good option. mineral supplements and other nutrients may get from other sources like food/ soft drinks/ fruits and others.
RO water remove minerals that the water contain, it is not good. But it is also true that many minerals came from food not from water but still RO water is acidic and not good for health.
RO technology reduces the pH level of water. It is also considered as a cause of concern for some people, especially the ones who think that low pH levels would harm their body. The fact is, when you drink water with low pH levels, your body would automatically adjust it to the ideal level of 7.4. So as long as you have a healthy and fit body, you should not worry about the pH balance of the water. You would also be pleased to know that the RO Water you consume after processing it via a good Reverse Osmosis filter system generally has 5-8 pH which is much higher than the pH present in soft drinks, sports drinks, beer and even coffee. So if those beverages have done you no harm despite their low pH levels, how can you expect the RO purified water to do any harm due to low pH levels?
Mention than you can expect. It would give you access to pure water at the cost of few pennies on a daily basis. Most importantly, it would give you peace of mind that you or your loved ones would not have to think twice about the purity of the water.
If RO gives, acidic water of 5.5, it defenetily show harmful. Quality water must be nearly neutral to mildly allaline in pH. If RO is used, its pereodic maintenence and water quality checkup is very much required.
In fact, the reverse osmosis process removes 92-99% of beneficial calcium and magnesium from water. Therefore, consumption of RO water may lead to magnesium and calcium deficiency disorders such as cardiovascular disease, tiredness, weakness or muscular cramps. Thus long term drinking of RO water is more likely to cause early death.

Application of RO is very common. without any scientific evidences such remark may be depressing. If RO filter water is unhygienic, mass aware ness is require .
Yes RO is not good for health, many article can be found regarding your query.
Actually water is the contain different element which is a need of human body at its permissible limit. but RO seperates the major part of element through separation.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water involves treatment of water that is contaminated with chemicals, bacteria, and minerals. These are filtered using different membranes and carbon filters by inducing pressure on the water molecules. Although it helps, continued use of RO can cause deficiency of macro-untrients in water and this may bring about abnormal health.
Vinod , appreciated your valuable remark which is connected to millions of people in world. It is suggested to make a correlation study between RO water users and health problems. If any correlation exist, this will be great help to human kind.
what if because it is useful minerals free (safe water is different from pure water) or it is unable to remove some toxicity causing elements including boron, which RO may not be efficient at removing V. K. Singh
