I have downloaded rgp but the quality of symbolic regression is not very good. I also have used gramEvol, and it is worse. Is there any good package for R?
Not to my knowledge. However, R is partially written in C. Perhaps it is possible to convert a GP package into an R one ...

Good Luck, David Booth
You can use GPTIP2 for symbolic regression which is based on Matlab but very helpful for regression.
