The application of hydroxyapatite derived from bio-waste material such as fish bones, scales and eggshell in food system is still lacking compared to its utilization in biomedical, water treatment and cosmeceutical application. Is there any constraints/challenge in utilizing such materials in food application?Kindly advise

They can be used in poultry feed and animal feed productions. They are also being researched and utilized in pharmaceutics.
