I examined my bacteriophage growth curve and seems the burst size is less than 20.Since the number of produced phages is not much I was wondering there is any factor that effecting and should be considered during the experiment to reach the precise burst size.
optimum temperature for the bacteria is 30C so the experiment was done in 30C and MOI was adjusted approximately 0.1.

The burst size depends on host and bacteriophage. Try to take care that the host is young - re-juvenated at least twice and the medium is the same and pre-incubated at cultivation temperature so that there will not be any temperature shock. If your temperature is 30, what is your host bacterium? Can you change the host strain?

The host should be growing fast, in early exponential phase so not too dense. Also in good media with plenty of aeration (assuming an aerobic host).
