If we want to dry something in a greenhouse (grains, seeds, painting…), we usually increase temperature and air velocity. However, as the humidity inside the greenhouse increases, it becomes necessary to introduce (less humid) fresh air in the system.

If the fresh air is at room temperature, the temperature of the greenhouse will fall. Therefore, one can notice that we will have a compromise between temperature drop (after introducing the fresh air inside the greenhouse) and absolute humidity drop.

My goal is to increase the drying rate of a greenhouse. Therefore, my question is: Is there any equation from which I can obtain the ideal amount of fresh air to be introduced in a greenhouse so that I can increase its drying rate?
