The focus is in the regional Newmark laws. There are several of them developed by number of authors. These laws predict the co-seismic shear displacement, often called as Newmark displacement, based on the set of predictors, most conventionally Arias Intensity (Ia) an Critical Acceleration (Ac). These laws are used in GIS to map the seismically-induced landslide susceptibility. The question is the next: are there any laws which predict this displacement applying the central frequency of impacting shaking together with other predictors like Ia or Ac?
