I am observing that more charge is required for doping/dedoping PEDOT films deposited on metal electrodes compared to that on ITO. Due to this the coloration efficiency is very low on the metal electrode. Chronoamperometry current-time plots for PEDOT on ITO and Pt are attached with this.
How you are patterning Pt on substrate and which deposition rate you are doing depositing, if deposition is not uniform then contact between polymer film and metal create more resistance. About ITO you are using sputtering or commercial electrodes. Make sure your deposition is uniform if it is uniform then you will get proper efficiency.

Both the electrodes are commercial. Contact doesn't seems to be a problem. Can you refer any paper where coloration efficiency of PEDOT or any other electrochrome has been calculated?
My observation is that on Pt electrode the current value starts from very high as can be seen in chronoamperometry. Since for calculating coloration efficiency we take initial charge require for color change (90 % change), it is coming very high (~ 10 times than on ITO). This is reducing coloration efficiency value.
Did you do this in a electrolyte solution ? If in a electrolyte solution, the conductivity of the electrolyte solution will effect on this.
