These are very important to investigate the challenges of the electricity grid in the country. Also, these systems will be very important to study the impact of integrating more renewable energy resources into the grid.
Brother Fathalla, I totally agree with, there are some previous studies on the stability of the Libyan grid by our MSc students in the department and also there are simplified models for the eastern and the western parts of the Libyan grid. Two MSc students are now working on the problems associated with the renewable energy integration, one is working on the impact of the centralized PV power plants and the other on the integration of the rooftop grid-connected PV systems on the low voltage grid side. Later we will be able to study the impacts of the storage and the plug-in electric vehicles on the stability of the grid.
Assulumualaikum Ahmed, if you have simulink models for the load frequency control for the eastern and the western grid please share them here. @Ahmed Hammoda
Sorry if I am asking too many questions, but do you have the full text of the thesis presented partially here https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1bvqfm61t8hoa9/describe%20the%20network.pdf?dl=0
