Dear all, i am working on matlab simulation and i need biomass plant model into it so rather than i using direct programmable source can i used this by other ways?
The AD4RD model developed by Salter and Banks (2008) is a spreadsheet based tool, which calculates energy balances using a crop based AD system (http://www.ad4rd.soton.ac.uk). The AD4RD model produces energy inputs and biogas outputs for a range of terrestrial agriculture products and wastes.
I developed also developed a spreadsheet model while researching the energy balance of algal biofuels (Milledge, 2013; Milledge & Heaven, 2014a; Milledge & Heaven, 2014b) and Hoa Huu Nguyen, Sonia Heaven and Charles Banks at the University of Southampton have developed an AD model in Aspen plus (Nguyen et al., 2014).

Have a look at SIMBA#biogas, a dynamic simulation platform for agricultural or other solid waste anaerobic digestion systems. http://www.inctrl.ca/software/simba/simbabiogas/ . You can download a demo version.
