I am working with cultural water heritage (or hydrological heritage) and one professor told me something about "minor heritage" but I have been searching about and I could not find any scientific article about it.
I have worked on traditional irrigation systems and water landscapes. We have a line of investigation in the research unit ESTEPA (Department of Geography, University of Valencia).
I don't know if you know a work Pascual Riesco Chueca.
It is entitled “LOS PAISAJES BORRADOS DEL AGUA: HIDROGRAFÍA MENOR DEL VALLE DEL DUERO Y CONCENTRACIÓN PARCELARIA” He speaks about minor hydrography as an heritage and landscape components unfortunately underrated.
I hope that you find useful reading.
In our publications of the research unit ESTEPA also make some reflections on the fact that the water heritage of traditional irrigation systems is considered less equity.
