For the growth of Staphyloccus aureus Mannitol Salt Agar may be the good medium.

@ Filipe Medina de Sousa Here, I recommend Mannitol salt agar (MSA) for S. aureus. Because, Staphylococcus can ferment mannitol, an acidic byproduct is formed that causes the phenol red in the agar to turn yellow. Hence, it has used for the selective isolation of presumptive pathogenic Staphylococcus species. In addition, Congo red agar (CRA) also used to examine the potential of slime layer formation for their pathogenicity of S. aureus inside host cell.

there is artificial sputum medium that is used to research cystic fibrosis bacteria. Here is a link to one of the recipes:

It is also an option to use a diluted clinical material e.g. sputum, blood/serum. However, you have to have access to patients.

My colleagues were using the second approach, for details see method section in the attached article.

To the ones who mentioned MSA, I appreciate the help, but I'm looking into something more specific than just grow or select Staphylococcus.

Thank you Jan Tkadlec , that is more in line to what I was thinking, but using diluted clinical material may reveal a little bit "Overkill" considering the context here (which I failed to give). I'll look into the attachment to search for ideas.
