Lots of information is available on national / regional regulatory systems. I wonder if there is any country without a system in place & if so, how medicines are marketed / made available there. Thank you
That is an interesting one. There are a lot of smaller countries without explicit regulatory authorities. The smaller European countries will adhere to European medicines agencies, how this works in eg Pacific Islands, i dont know, presume their ministry of health adopts the decisions of neighboring states or WHO Regional office?
Thank you both, Jim and Toske. WHO has indeed done considerable work, especially to harmonise. It's interesting that lists are positive but not negative - so we are left to impute countries with no formal systems or links / co-recognition
