Since chitosan protonated in acidic solution (pH under 6), and surface tension depends on solvent concentration (when I change the acetic acid concentration from 10% to 90% it will decrease the surface tension of CS , depends on the amount of protonated Chitosan), if I add small amount of salt, eg NaCl it will dissociate into Na+ and Cl-, and will cover up -NH3- with covalent bond.

Is that true? and will it affect the surface tension and viscosity?, whether these changes can be observed and measured?.
