Online research tools might work well for ethnographic research where the respondent gets a very good access to the Internet, electricty and the gadgets required. Is there any best way to conduct research in the rural communities where there is no electricity and internet at all?
I think researchers who are already scattered across Namibia especially those who live in the areas where research need to be conducted can be coordinated. Researchers at northern campuses, for example, can be contacted to handle data collection, interviews or observations based on their local area experiences. Maybe an incentive can be given to motivate them.
Start by reading the literature and mastering the ethnography research methods. This is not an easy type of research. Seek experts or researchers who published using such a method to join with you, if you do not have the capabilities needed for conducting such research. I am just talking here about the principle; I do not know you, maybe you have published using this method.
Thank you Samy Azer and Lazarus Gawazah for the recommendations. I clearly understand the distinction between a case study and an ethnographic method. My big challenge here is the administration of questionnaires and interviews during COVID pandemic. How should we conduct the fieldwork?
