Agroforesty is the deliberate combination of the agriculture crops and forest trees on the same piece of the land management unit. Researcher generally presumed that the agroforestry systems are only present on the agriculture lands. Although from my point of view agroforestry systems like silvopastoral, Protein bank, Energy plantations are present beyond the agriculture lands. Pleases give suggestion with reference.

I wonder how many case you can find…..I'm sure there are many. You mean previuous natural forested area where farmer introduce animals or crops ?
I'm thinking to Taro cultivation in Micronesia islands where in a forested area local farmers introduce Taro crop whenever there is enough water flow to grow it.

@ Nicola Colonna, here I am asking about the agroforestry system which does not have the agriculture crops as a function. So they can't be classify as a part of the agricultural land.
Actually mostly researcher during the mapping of the agroforestry area presume that the agroforestry only present on the agriculture lands. Which I think may be wrong. As sometimes agroforestry systems like protein or fodder bank, energy plantation may not contain the agriculture component. Moreover agroforestry system like plantation crops under shaded tree may also be a example here.

@Joan Nyika. Aas per the Nair 1983 classification, Protein banks are the agroforestry system. Moreover @ Nicola Colonna thanks for sharing the project report. I had got my answer from that silvopasture systems are not part of the agricultural lands.
Silvipastoral, protein banks, multipurpose tree lots, energy plantations, apiculture with trees, aquaculture having trees are classified as agroforestry systems but these are beyond agricultural lands.
Yes, many agroforestry projects are also done in pastures and are under the names:
1- Agrosilviculture 2- Silvopasture 3- Agrosilvopasture
Any agroforestry system is an invention and adoption of man. So there may be other invention of innovative system.
Sir, upto my knowledge out of three main systems (agrisilvi, silvipastoral and agrisivipastoral) only agrisilvi is practiced on large scale in agricultural lands/farm lands whereas the remaining two sivipastoral and agrisilvipastoral are practiced on pasture land/forest land and home gardens, respectively.
