I mix two solutions of calcium chloride and sodium sulphate, I think at first nano-calcium sulphate particles precipitates which have 10-20nm. Without using cryoTEM I want to prove this, so I want to filter the solution immediately after mixing. I need 10nm filter papers. According to your opinion is there any 10nm filter papers?
How can I filter those 10nm nano-particles from solution?
You can try centrifugation. That works better than filtration
Nice question Taher. but why you think for use filteration techniques ? any special logic behind that ? if not then please You can try centrifugation. If that does not work then i think you might have to make a membrane film yourself, which is obviously not easy but if then its a open door for other scientists.

Hi Taher: There is an article in Science Mag 14th Feb 2014 Vol 343 page 752 describing the use of graphene oxide membranes as a molecular sieve. Might be possible to treat these chemically to open up the pore size to tailor their properties to your app?
Anodic aluminum oxide membranes might be a good choice for you. These are not paper, though, but I believe one might find commercial suppliers (or try to place a custom order) of these with pore diameter of ~10nm. Google AnoDisc, AnoPore, etc.

Are you sure that your particles will not combine in aggregates? And even if you use 10 or 20 nm-filter pores will get clogged with particles resulting reduce the effectiveness of filter
Just another sources of nanoporous membrane from Novamem. They are selling 20 nm PES/PVDF/PEEK/CA membrane. 5-10 nm membrane fabrication can be custom requested but resulting in 5-6 times of the price.

I dont think that it will be easy to separate 10-20 nm particles using a filter or centrifugation. Ultrafiltration columns use a molecular weight cutoff to separate molecules and the MWCO is not an exact measure of what can pass through the membrane. It will be dependent on the molecular size of the particle. What about trying to using size exclusion chromatography to separate your particles? Like a sephadex column or other FPLC apparatus.
Centrifugation is a good technique you can choose. You can also evaporate you precursor instead of filtration/centrifugation.
In lab, I suggest you can just put the solution into the oven. Once the liquid was vaporized, you would get the solid.
AAO, or Novamem would be too far to your major profession. Though indeed they are good solutions for separating 10~20nm particles.
Just before you prepare these membranes, adequate containers, & driving pumps, ....etc. you would start to doubt whether if it is a good idea.
Or you could try to control the concentration of the solutions, & make sure they could be reacted in the supersaturation zone. Once the nucleation just happened, you may collect uniform reaction particles. (lower down the concentration as much as you can, you could get as small as the particle you like)
You can dip a drop on a cell to take SEM to measure the actual diameter of these particles.
And then, adjust the solution concentrations, repeat all the above procedures, until you get the particle size you need.
(Or you can prepare couples of the test concentrations, ex. Jar test, do the SEM examine at the same time.)
