Edward A. Rundquist was first, in 1936, to report increases in average IQs, in the journal School and Society. In his article he refers to a Master’s Thesis at the University of Minnesota by Fred P. Roesell, A Comparative Study of the Mental Level in Grades Seven through Twelve in Three Minnesota Towns in 1920 and 1934. Roesell subsequently published Roesell, F. P. (1937). Comparative mental ability of high school pupils in three Minnesota towns in 1920 and 1934. Minnesota Studies in Articulation.

Rundquist's article cites Roesell's unpublished (at that time) Master's thesis.
So far, there does not appear to be an online copy of Roesell's thesis or article. If someone has a copy, could they post it online?
