Is there an issue if using Lithium Heparin coated blood collection tubes for blood sampling to measure Beta-Carotene levels ?
Hi,
I don't think there should be a problem if such heparin coated tubes are used. I suppose, many people use such tube.
Dear Narayan
Some studies for measurement Beta caroteno use EDTA plasma or serum tube, but you need protect to light because is analyte photosensitive.
Best regards
