I'm looking for a standard reporting guideline for studies on tool development, translation, and validation. There should be one right? It's 2018! I mean there is STROBE, PRISMA, CONSORT, CARE, etc for other study designs but I couldn't find any for tool development. I checked equator, none. Please help.

Thank you for your question. In the best of my knowledge, the expert group COSMIN mentioned they are currently working on a ressource: COSMIN Reporting checklist (PCORI reference: 1606–35,556, ongoing research) which could help you in your work. However,
this ressource does not seem available yet.
