Being a commercial software, SPSS is not free after the trial period ends. But you can switch to a free statistics software such as R which also allows you to conduct all kinds of statistical analyses.

I think Minitab can be downloaded and kept for free all the time. It is also a good replacement for SPSS.

Thank you so much for your helpful answers. All answers advise learning other software than SPSS (R, PSPP, Minitab). I think it is a better way to overcome the difficulty of accessing SPSS.
