Many biotemplating and biomineralization molecules are able to template a wide range of nanoparticles and effect control to form different sizes and shapes. For example, we wrote a recent highlight on biotemplated metal and metal oxide nanoparticles that explore a range of different technologically relevant biotemplated nanoparticles and nanostructures. We also cite some recent reviews articles that discuss other biotemplated nanomaterials that may be of interest. I can't think of any specific molecules from plants, although there is some interesting work using viruses as biotemplates. I hope this helps with your question.
