I would like to know if there is a package from R, Python, or something like that to classify plant species according to their use (food, construction, medicinal, ...), habitat, native climate, life cycle, whether it is crop or wild and vegetation type.
I have been doing this manually using the "Plants of the World Online" and "Encyclopedia of Life" websites, but I am afraid of making mistakes, particularly for native climate.
Could someone please suggest something?

A simple NN/Deep Learning Network is enough for the above-mentioned classification. It depends on you which programming tool you want to use. You need to identify the specific features of a plant, which make them unique identity for the proper classifications in terms of the above-mentioned categories like food, medicinal, construction, etc.

But if you have more time, collecting your own data collection is also a good idea.
